In our effort to challenge Northwestern Energy’s drive to build more fossil fuel infrastructure, 350 held a noon rally at NWE’s Russell St. office. Over 100 people showed up for a talk on NWE’s damaging behavior, climate protest songs and street theater. As the rally was ending, a group of middle school students sought to enter the customer accessible building for a dialog. Panicked NWE security called police, who arrived but felt no need to confront the students.
