Judge Seeley’s Decision Is Worth Reading

It’s not surprising that Montana’s right-wing Attorney General put up such a weak defense during the Held V. Montana trial because there is no defense for Montana’s annual contribution of 166 million tons of CO2. Indeed, sixteen Montana kids made history by proving that the State of Montana was cheating them of a constitutionally guaranteed “clean and healthful environment.” Judge Kathy Seeley called the testimony of Attorney General Austin Knudsen’s witness “not well-supported, contained errors, and was not given weight by the Court.” The kids’ witnesses, on the other hand — scientists such as Steve Running, Ph.D., Cathy Whitlock, Ph.D., and Jack Sandford, Ph.D. — provided a tsunami of undisputed facts about the climate damage we’re experiencing.
