Keystone XL Protest

Protest Montana’s Senators support for the Keystone XL Pipeline.
After President Trump announced his efforts to restart the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, Senator Daines and Tester both announced their support for the Keystone XL(see Missoulian Article)  The tar sands pipeline which will run through Montana is intended to carry extremely dirty and damaging tar sands oil. Retired NASA climate Scientist James Hansen says that if this oil is recovered and used, it is “game over for the planet”.
 350 Montana and Indian People’s Action will protest Senator Tester and Daines support for these climate killing projects, beginning at noon on Friday, January 27th, outside Senator Tester’s office at 130 W. Front Street in Missoula. At approximately 12:30, we will march to Senator Daines office at 218 E. Front Street to continue our protest.
This will be a peaceful protest. No civil disobedience is planned but be prepared to make lots of noise.
