DESCRIPTION:Action\nVenue\n\n\nGathering location\, – Emma Park\, Butte\, America\nJoin hundreds of 350 Montana members and supporters at NorthWestern Energy’s (New) headquarters in Butte on Monday\, October 10\, for a giant rally! \nLet’s show NorthWestern Energy that Montana won’t accept anything less than 100 percent renewable power. \nLess than a year after the Paris Climate Change Agreement\, Earth’s temperature is already flirting with the level we all agreed to not breech.August was the hottest month in recorded history. \nClimate change is happening\, and time is short. \nThe coal-fired generators at Colstrip will be decommissioned\, which is a great step. But now Montana faces a choice. NorthWestern Energy plans to build 13 new gas generators to replace Colstrip. and the company has lobbied aggressively to make home solar less affordable.That’s backwards. \nJoin us! Transportation from Missoula\, Bozeman and Helena will be provided\, along with treats and entertainment. \nJack Gladstone and Andrea Harsell will provide music at Emma Park. \nAfter assembling at Emma Park\, the group will walk to the new Northwestern Energy Office Building at Park and Main across  from the M&M Cafe\, one of many historic Butte locations. \n\nSpeakers include: \n\n\n\nDan Brandborg\, general manager of SBS Solar\, a Hamilton-based solar energy company. Brandborg will talk about the overt and hidden constraints on residential solar and its potential should the constraints be lifted.\nBrian Fadie of the Montana Environmental Information Center . He will highlight new Montana polling numbers showing overwhelming support in the state for increasing use of wind\, solar\, and energy efficiency.\nDavid Merrill of the Sierra Club. Merrill will highlight the history of inaction in addressing the climate threat.\n\n\n\nNorthwestern Energy Office\n\n\nAction\nVenue
