KXLComment.pdf. \nYou can submit your public comment here: \nWhat’s up with KXL/ this EIS:  \n\nIn response to a lawsuit filed by multiple organizations arguing permit was based on stale EIS\, lawsuit was successful– concluded that a new EIS was necessary to move forward\nThe state department has been busy working on a supplementary EIS to move forward.\nThis hearing will be the basis for the last remaining permits to be issued or not issued\n\nArmy Corps section 408 (Missouri river crossing)\nBLM\n\n\nThis is the ONLY hearing on KXL in the country before the permitting process\n\n\n\nThe rally will begin at 4 PM (MST) on Tuesday\, October 29th\, outside of the Billings Hotel and Convention Center. The address is 1223 Mullowney Ln\, Billings\, MT 59101 \n\n\nIf you are interested in speaking at the rally\, we decided to speak again on Thursday the 24th at 5pm (MST). Call-in is the same number: 1-877-304-5632\, passcode: 4108595190# \n\n\nDue to the restrictive nature of the hearing\, food\, water\, signs\, speakers\, and bags will not be allowed in the hearing room. We are working to secure a space next to the hearing location for supporters to rest and eat a light dinner. \n\n\nAn “action alert” email will be sent to this list for use in recruiting other to attend the hearing\, by Wednesday the 23rd. \n\n\nLodging: If you would like to stay with a Northern Plains supporter on the night of the 29th\, contact David Wieland and Caroline Canarios (dwieland@worc.org and caroline@northernplains.org) \n  \nTransportation: \n\n\nThose who wish to carpool from Ft. Peck should meet at the Silver Wolf Casino parking lot on Tuesday the 29th at 10:30 AM. Angeline Cheek and Senator Smith have seats available.
