Next week, there will be a hearing in Great Falls on the legal challenge to Trump’s permit for the Keystone XL.
Northern Plains is holding a Protect Our Water Rally in Great Falls to coincide with this hearing.
The rally will take place at Noon on Wednesday, October 11th at Great Falls Civic Center, 2 Park Drive South, Great Falls, MT 59401
The Rally is expected to run until 1:30. The event description from Northern Plains is below. Note the “Wear Blue” request.
“Join Northern Plains on October 11 in Great Falls for a rally to protect our water and land from the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline! The national lawsuit challenging the permit for KXL will be heard in district court in Great Falls that day.
Come be a part of speaking out against this dirty project that threatens Montana’s drinking and irrigation water.
Wear blue (for clean skies and clean water) and bring a sign! Messages like “No Keystone XL,” “Protect Water,” and “Clean Energy not Tar Sands” would be great! “
This is a critical issue for the climate and Northern Plains has supported us in many ways in the past. It would be great if we can turn out a lot of people.
