CC and Human Health in MT (Missoula)

February 28, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Two-Part Seminar Series: Climate Change and Human Health in Montana

Please join the Montana Institute on Ecosystems, the American Lung Association, and the UM School of Public and Community Health Sciences for a two-part interactive seminar series exploring human health and climate change in Montana. There will be two sessions, one broadcast from MSU and the other from UM, that will cover a variety of topics related to climate change and health.

The program is geared toward health, medical, and policy professionals and students, as well as interested members of the public. Hear from health and policy experts on topics such as health effects from wildfire smoke and extreme heat, communities and citizens most at risk, and new research and data collection efforts.

Limited in-person space is available at the campus broadcasts, so we hope to have people from across Montana log in and participate via the webinar. We are actively seeking individuals or organizations interested in hosting watch parties – all you need is the internet, a computer or iPad, and a place to gather.  Please let me know if you are interested in that and we’ll help facilitate.
