Nine 350 Montana and Sierra Club members traveled to Helena on Monday, August 27 to attend a meeting of the Montana State Consumer Council at the capitol building. Seven activists from the group made public comments to the council and legislators present.
The meeting started with a presentation by a representative from Bonneville Power Administration of a report titled “Montana Renewables Development Action Plan, June 2018” His speech was followed by talks on transmission and supply by representatives from NorthWestern Energy. The public comments period followed before the lunch break.
